The Protector was written over ten years ago, and although it’s a romance novel, it touches on family dynamics, conflicts, and human relationships. The novel’s intention isn’t to sway its reader one way or the other concerning morally or ethically right and wrong conflict resolutions. Nor is the novel intended to project any negative views concerning the professions the characters portray. The novel isn’t a clinical book, nor is it being represented as one. It is, however, a fictional novel about the inner turmoil of the characters, their weaknesses, their strengths, and the choices they ultimately make.

BOOK SYNOPSIS:

The Woman...

Trapped in a loveless interracial marriage for the sake of her young niece who was abandoned by her mother, Debra Cruz fights with all her heart and soul to keep the little girl she loves dearly. With the help and protection of psychologist Dr. Ted Graham, she is able to combat her sister and the juvenile court until an awful betrayal separates and tears them apart. Fighting hard for her niece and trying to deny her growing love and passionate desire for the handsome doctor, Debra becomes the victim of a sinister plot.

The Man..

When beautiful Debra Cruz seeks his help. Ted Graham realizes she’s someone special. She’d overcome a lot of hurdles in her life. Now she was single handily fighting an unyielding legal system. From the moment they meet, Ted feels the need to protect the small and delicate woman. Despite her determined demeanor, he knows she’s very vulnerable in side. Faced with the most difficult decision of his life. Ted risks alienating the woman he loves, the woman he can’t have because she belongs to another man.

It’s not until years later, Ted and Debra get a chance at love, a chance to see if their love survived the test of time.
