    This study examines how one approaches thinking about the economics of conflict, war and peace, focusing on how military expenditure relates to economic and human development, and economic growth. The analysis is on a global economy and society committed to an international framework and policy tools that would reduce the potential for conflict and appropiately respond to those cases where conflict does arise.
