Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great tool for Adult Faith Formation
This is a fantastic re-presentation of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. As the director of Adult Faith Formation at our parish we have chosen this book to be the foundation of our program. It is easy to read and study and you do not need a degree in theology to understand it. We are using it in small group studies and are delighted that it has a Study Guide (Study Guide for the U.S. Adult Catholic Catechism by Jem Sullivan; Ph.D.) to help the small group leaders. There is also a journal (Reader's Journal for the United States Catholic Catechism for Adults) to help individuals work through Catechism on their own. This is a great product for anyone who wants to renew their faith or needs to be able to answer those questions that their children bring home from church or religous education.

Note: If you are a catechist I would recommend that you also have access to the complete, offical Catechism of the Catholic Church: Second Edition.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent Teaching Tool
This book, United States Catholic Catechism for Adults, is an excellent teaching tool for all adult catechists. It is clear, easy to read, and easily understood. The participants in my parish Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) program will attest to that. It also refers to the Catechism of the Catholic Church as its source as well as documents of Vatican II. This indicates that this has been thought out and not something just dreamed up the US Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). It makes the job of the catechist easier to prepare and more organized in presentation of the subject matter. Recommend for all who are involved in adult education and especially those who facilitate RCIA sessions.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Teaching Tool
This is much easier to understand than the Catholic Catechism. It is well organized which makes it easy to find the answer to questions you may have. The church I work for is using it as the text for RCIA classes (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults).

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - US catholicCatechism for Adults
This is a current version of a volume approved by the Catholic Church. The book is used mostly as a reference book and/for instructional classes. It is not a suitable introductory reader. It would be like reading a space craft assembly manual to keep you awake after a hard day's work.
