    Editorial Review:

    Product Description:
By Scott Hahn The Lamb's Supper reveals a long-lost secret of the Church: the early Christians' key to understanding the mysteries of the Mass was the New Testament's Book of Revelations. With its bizarre imagery, its mystic visions of Heaven, and its end-of-time prophecies, Revelation mirrors the sacrifice and celebration of the Eucharist .Beautifully written in clear, direct language, this new book by bestselling Catholic author Scott Hahn will help readers see the Mass with new eyes, pray the liturgy with a renewed heart, and enter into the Mass more fully, enthusiastically, intelligently, and powerfully than ever before.

    Amazon.com Review:
The Lamb's Supper: The Mass as Heaven on Earth reawakens a surprising ancient view of the Eucharist, as the harbinger of the supernatural drama described by the New Testament book of Revelation. Catholic theologian Scott Hahn thinks that many worshippers receive the sacrament of communion without ever considering its links to the end of the world, the Apocalypse, and the Second Coming. Hahn wants to change our minds; he wants us to know that "The Mass--and I mean every single Mass--is heaven on earth." Literally. So, Hahn declares, "Now heaven has been unveiled for us with the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ ... Jesus Christ Himself says to you: 'Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with Me' (Rv. 3:20)." Hahn's enthusiasm, as evident even from these short quotes, is considerable--and infectious. Furthermore, he delivers his arguments with great levity (demonstrated in chapter titles such as "Oath Meal"), which makes The Lamb's Supper quite a tasty read. --Michael Joseph Gross

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Mass & the Bible
One of the best books I have read regarding the Mass. Scott Hahn explains the Mass in layman's terms. It is totally amazing to me how the Mass is explained in the Bible.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Brings a lot of questions to light
I really like this book and recommend it to Catholics and non-Catholics, especially skeptics. Scott Hahn does a great job showing us the Bible in the Mass. As always, another GREAT book by Scott Hahn.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - the lamb's supper, the mass as heaven on earth by scott hahn
understandable in presentation. affirmed my awareness and gratitude for the eucharist and for the liturgies we celebrate

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Enlightening take on The Book of Revelation and also on the Eucharist
This book was suggested as extra reading along with a Bible study at a church. The study was entitled "The Bible and The Mass". Everyone that had gotten hold of a copy of "The Lamb's Supper" thought it was great. My husband didn't go to the study but read the book after I said how wonderful it was. It was the first time I had gotten an explanation of the Book of Revelation that seemed to make sense. Scott Hahn's books can convey information in a way most people can understand and also get them excited about it. I have a Presbyterian friend who is a librarian and also thought so much of it that she ordered it for our public library.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Awesome breakdown of what the Church is all about.
I just finished this book. It's easy reading, and the author does an excellent job of breaking down the Roman Catholic Church's principles, values and beliefs.
Stripped down into layman's terms, this book will win your soul and bring you back to a better understanding of the core of the Church.
This book helps Catholics to better understand their own individual roles in the Catholic faith, as well as win back other souls, for whom have been sitting on the fence in regards to their own faith.
